About Our Program
We are very proud of the Religious Education program at St. Bonaventure Parish that is designed to reinforce and supplement what you as parents are teaching at home. We focus on the three pillars of our Catholic faith: Worship, Witness and Service by offering meaningful experiences to our students through lessons (witness), and service opportunities. We Worship together at the Evening Family Masses throughout the year and it is the parents responsibility to attend weekly mass with their child(ren). The program is meaningless unless all three pillars are practiced.
Note: Due to COVID restrictions our Religioue Ed Program is now virtual. RE Tuition for 2020-21 has been waived for 2020-21
Check the Home Page under Virtual Religious Ed 2020-21 for bi-weekly lessons for families. If you are not registered wit Religious Ed please send your name, names & grades kids are in and email to [email protected] to add you to our bi-weekly lesson email.
For children, parents are the first and foremost catechists who plant the seeds of faith long before participation in any formal catechetical programs. Parents teach powerfully by the way they live and practice their Catholic faith. It is within the family setting more than anywhere else that faith formation takes place. The partnership of home and parish is the ground for nurturing faith. It is the quality of family life and parish involvement, as well as the use of religious education as a resource, that provide the fertile soil in which your child’s faith may grow and mature. We look forward to partnering with you during this important journey.
